Hinasaki Family
The Hinasaki Family and their ancestry. The oldest 'known' member of the family is Mr. Hinasaki, who was a family friend of the Munakatas and adopted Mikoto when her parents went missing. The family is primarily featured in Fatal Frame, although some reappeared in Fatal Frame III & Fatal Frame V.

Fatal Frame
The Hinasaki Family, featuring primarily in the original Fatal Frame, seem to have a unique gift of being able to see things that other people cannot normally see.
Mr. Hinasaki (雛咲氏)
A friend of the Munakata family, who resided in the Himuro area. He took in Mikoto after the disappearance of her parents, Yae and Ryozo. He never truly adopted Mikoto, however, as her daughter Miyuki eventually married Masato Hinasaki. Mr. Hinasaki is only referred to by surname in-game text, and his first name is unknown.
Masato Hinasaki (雛咲 真人)
A relative of Mr. Hinasaki, Masato married one of his archaeology students named Miyuki. He and Miyuki had two children, Miku and Mafuyu; however, the marriage soon became strained by Masato's work-related absences from home. He went missing on an archaeological dig. Masato is never mentioned by Miku, and it is possible that he died when she was very young.
Miyuki Hinasaki (雛咲 深雪)
Miyuki Hinasaki is the daughter of Mikoto Munakata, and the wife of Masato Hinasaki. She is the mother of Miku and Mafuyu, and looks strikingly similar to her grandmother Yae Munakata. Miyuki would assist Masato's archaeological work with her mother's old camera and, sometime after her husband went missing, she began to take photos with it again. She eventually succumbed to the camera's power, and hanged herself.
Mafuyu Hinasaki (雛咲 真冬)
Mafuyu Hinasaki is the son of Miyuki and Masato Hinasaki, and older brother to Miku. He was also good friends with Yuu Asou and Kei Amakura. After his novelist mentor, Junsei Takamine and his group, went missing whilst on a research trip to Himuro Mansion, Mafuyu went after them, taking with him his mother's old camera. After encountering the woman behind the mansion's curse he becomes trapped in the mansion. Although he is eventually found by his sister he decides to stay with Kirie, and is buried and killed when the cavern collapses. In Fatal Frame III, he makes a few appearances as a vanishing ghost, leading Miku deeper into the Manor of Sleep. During the course of the game, Kei suggests that Mafuyu may be one of many people to have been spirited away, like Junsei Takamine.
Miku Hinasaki (雛咲 深紅)
Miku Hinasaki is the daughter of Miyuki and Masato, and younger sister of Mafuyu, who has a strong sixth sense. After her mother's suicide, she discovered her body hanging from a tree, and was taken care of by Mafuyu as her father had also disappeared.
Fatal Frame
Years later she, too, became trapped inside Himuro Mansion, after becoming worried about her brother and following him there. She finds her mother's old camera lying around, and uses it to help make her way around the mansion. She eventually finds her brother, after defeating the Shrine Maiden behind the mansion's curse, and uses the Holy Mirror to exorcise her of the Malice. Mafuyu stays behind with the woman and Miku escapes as the cavern collapses.
Fatal Frame III
After the events of Fatal Frame, Miku was taken in by her brother's friend Yuu Asou, and went to live with him and his fiancé Rei Kurosawa. She acts as an assistant to Rei, who is a photographer; however, after visiting an old house on an assignment she begins to have nightmares about Himuro Mansion. During the course of the game she gathers information on old photographs given to her by Rei. As her dreams become more vivid she begins to exhibit symptoms of the Tattooed Curse, and is lured deeper into the dreams by the ghosts of her brother and a girl leading her toward "brother". Miku eventually succumbs to the curse and chases an image of her brother deep into the mansion, after which she falls into a coma. She later awakens after Rei breaks the curse.
Fatal Frame V
Miu Hinasaki (雛咲 深羽)
Miku's daughter, who appears as a main character in Fatal Frame V. She was raised by her foster-mother, Sachi Iyama, since Miku disappeared when she was three. She too has a strong sixth sense, and it makes her feel isolated. She goes to Mount Hikami to search for her mother, but she is overwhelmed by the powerful spirits that inhabit the mountain. She is spirited away, trapped in a black box until Yuri Kozukata rescues her. Miu is not swayed from her mission, however; she borrows Yuri's Camera Obscura and returns to the mountain. Eventually, she finds Miku in the House of Joining, where an old woman calls her a Shadowborn, a child of a living person and a dead one. She learns that her mother sensed she was near death, and came to the mountain to take part in the Ghost Marriage ritual, in order to be with Mafuyu in the afterlife. Miu is able to rescue Miku from the black box, and they return to Kurosawa Antiques Shop to spend the remainder of Miku's life together.
Important Note
While Rei Kurosawa, Hisoka Kurosawa and Ose Kurosawa all have the Kurosawa surname, there have been no confirmed links (through information, correlation charts or family trees) between them and the Kurosawa/Hinasaki family lines. As far as it is known, they are unrelated.
