Netherworld

The Netherworld (隠世; hidden world) in Fatal Frame V is a term that refers to the underworld. It is said to be a place of unending night, where dawn never comes, where the dead go. Because of this, legends say that the border between the world of the living and the Netherworld lies beneath an eternal sunset, and people more frequently stumble into the Netherworld at dusk. The Shadowspring is said to exist in both worlds.
