Tsuki Amano
Tsuki Amano (formerly Tsukiko Amano) is a Japanese singer-songwriter, best known outside Japan for the themesongs to all but the first game in the Fatal Frame series.
As of 2009, Tsukiko dropped the 'ko' from her name as a symbolic dropping of her past. 'Ko' is Japanese for rat, so after 2008, year of the rat, she dropped the ko to be simply known as Tsuki Amano.
Fatal Frame Connection
Tsukiko Amano has written and performed the ending songs for every game in the Fatal Frame series so far, with the exception of the first Fatal Frame and the 3DS spin-off, Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir.
- Chou (蝶) - Fatal Frame II theme song
- Koe (聲) - Fatal Frame III theme song
- Zero no Chouritsu (ゼロの調律) - Fatal Frame IV theme song
- NOISE - Fatal Frame IV ending song
- Kurenai (くれなゐ) - Fatal Frame: Deep Crimson Butterfly theme song
- Torikago -In This Cage- (鳥籠) - Fatal Frame V tie-up song
She is good friends with Makoto Shibata, who consistently lobbied for her to write the theme-song for Fatal Frame II after hearing her single Hakoniwa, although other staff members initially had doubts.[1] She is also a fan of the games, and has even drawn fanart of an anthropomorphised Camera Obscura.
