Along with [[Minakami Alleyway]], this is one of the areas where ordinary villagers who were not members of the five main families would live. A large pine tree called "Amanoki" (Sky Tree) is a landmark visible from some distance.<ref>''World'', p60, [[Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake]] Digital Deluxe Art Book, 2026.</ref> With the exception of the house where you first encounter [[Woman in Box|The Entrapped]], all the houses in the settlement area are locked.
