	The second half of the letter continually references あの子 (''anoko''; that child). This phrase is often used to refer to girls, so some readers assume that Sakuya is here talking about [[Ayako]]. However, given the relationship that Sakuya and You share, the fact that the tape picked up with this diary says that Sakuya has forgotten Ayako, and the fact You has only just introduced while Ayako goes unmentioned suggests that the entire section is about her brother.
