Back in the village, Itsuki is seen with a butterfly fluttering around his hand. [[Darkness]] passes across the barred window of his cell, covering the village as the Repentance occurs once more. Beside the Abyss, Mayu puts her arm around Mio and holds her close.

Afterwards, the twins are seen sitting together under a kimono in the Sacrificial Altar, their eyes closed, holding hands.
