夜泉子（よみこ）
死者と生者の間にできた子供のこと。
各地の民話でも稀に見られる。
他の地方では黄泉子と書かれるが、
日上山のある地方では、夜泉子と
も書かれることがある。
生まれたときから、半分は死に属して
いるとして、忌み嫌われる存在だったが、
霊力が強いとされ、崇められることもあった。
