Rougetsu Hall is a mental hospital built for the Haibara Hospital facilities. The first floor was designed to be as welcoming and natural as possible to those coming from outside the island.

At Rougetsu Hall, each room has been named after the moon in the fashion of the old style Japanese seasons. For example:

Room 101 Entrance Hall - Mutsuki
Room 102 Dining Hall - Reigetsu

As for the unique Asou Museum, it was the room Dr. Asou stayed in when he came to Rougetsu Island. The room was renovated as a special exhibit. Please tell the visitors at reception that there is no entrance fee.

The "Water Moon" pool in the courtyard and the "Moon Flower Garden" are open to anyone as well.

Rougetsu Hall basement - Important notes

It is strictly prohibited to enter any rooms other than the Breaker Room and Reservoir.

朧月館は、灰原病院の新館として
建てられた精神療養所ですが、
一階は島外から来られた方を
お迎えすることもできる
施設となっております。
 
なお、朧月館では、月の名前に
ちなんで、一月から順に部屋の名前が
つけられています。
101号室　玄関ホール　睦月（むつき）
102号室　食堂　麗月（れいげつ）
麻生記念室は、麻生博士が朧月島に
来られた時に滞在された部屋を移築したもので、
貴重な資料が展示されております。
拝観料は無料ですので、ご希望の方は
ロビー受付にお申し付けください。
また、中庭「月華園」にあるプール「水月」は、
どなたでもご利用になれます。
