A shrine in the Unfathomable Forest, halfway up Mt. Hikami. A number of dolls are enshrined there. The true purpose of the shrine has now been forgotten, but locals all agree that it has always been associated with dolls.

The shrine was restored for tourists and presented as a place of doll worship. It was abandoned after the landslide and now has a reputation as a shrine where the ghosts of children play. The dolls can be heard speaking, and a white-haired girl holding a doll can be seen staring out.

形代神社（かたしろじんじゃ）

日上山中腹、不知ノ森の中央にある、
多くの人形が祭られた神社。

その来歴ははっきりしておらず、古くから
無人の社に、多くの人形が祭られていた
と言われている。


その後の観光地化に伴い、一時期は
「人形供養」を行う神社として改修され
たが、地滑り後には参拝客も減り、現在
は再び無人となっている。

子供の霊が遊んでいる、人形から声が
する、人形を持った白い髪の少女が
じっとみつめていた、などの噂が
後を絶たない。
