Theory: Dr. Kunihiko Asou

The following fan theories are about Dr. Kunihiko Asou. These are speculative and should not be considered canon fact.

Dr. Kunihiko Asou is the Bound Man.	None.	+ Dr. Asou was supposed to be in the original Fatal Frame storyline. + Bound Man says "I'm sorry" and "Please forgive me". - Bound Man could be saying this for many reasons. + Bound Man was a visitor to the mansion. - Many of the Rope Curse victims were visitors to the mansion.
Dr. Kunihiko Asou is Misaki Asou's grandfather.	Misaki Asou is a member of the Asou family and a direct descendant of Dr. Asou.	+ Misaki carries a Camera Obscura with her, which was passed down through the Asou family. - Any number of relatives could have received the camera before Misaki did. + Dr. Asou had influence on Rogetsu Isle and was alive during its heyday. - There is no evidence Misaki is from the island; the game seems to suggest she was not. - Dates appear to suggest that Misaki would at least be his great-granddaughter.
