There are masks in every corner of Rogetsu Isle.
Masks seem to be very important to the people here, especially those worn by maidens during ceremonies.
The maiden of the Kagura dances until she reaches a trance-like state. The beauty of her mask leads her to a beautiful place, or so they say.
The mask artisan of the island is particularly revered by locals.
Unlike the masks used in Kagura ceremonies in other parts of the country, the masks here represent the faces of the dead.

神楽において 面を
被り 音楽にあわせて
踊ることで忘我状態と
