Talk:Broken Neck
The original version of this article had a lot of background info about Broken Neck that I haven't been able to find a citation for. I'm preserving it here so I can add it back in if someone finds a source, but for now this shouldn't be considered canon.
Like many other ghosts that appeared in that game. She was not a member of the Himuro Family, but a visitor to the mansion. Perhaps unusually, she was aware of the rituals being performed at the mansion.
On the day of Kirie's ritual, Broken Neck was visiting the mansion as a guest. It's not known whether she was one of the people that witnessed the failure of the ritual at the Hell Gate or not, though it is likely that she was on the second floor at the time of the ritual, as that is where she was before she died.
Broken Neck knew of the ritual's failure, and that the Malic] was spreading throughout the mansion; she may have even witnessed Lord Himuro's killing spree. What is known is that she became so frightened by Lord Himuro that she jumped off of the Moon Observatory, above the Cherry Atrium, to her death. She appears to have landed on her face, as her head is hanging over her back. She was one of the few people not killed by either the Calamity or Lord Himuro.
