Broken Neck is a ghost that appears in Fatal Frame. She was present at Himuro Mansion during the Calamity, and threw herself from the Moon Observatory. Her suffering continues after death, and she haunts the mansion.

Miku Hinasaki first encounters Broken Neck when she walks out of the Doll Room for the first time. She appears as a vanishing ghost known as WomanWhoJumps, and then becomes a hostile ghost.

• She wears a tan colored kimono, with what appear to be red and purple flowers on the obi.
• Early in development, she wore Western-style clothing, but the developers decided a kimono would be more appropriate to the game.
• While fighting Broken Neck, you have to wait until her head is facing you to do damage.
