ENJA

The ability to glance into a person's soul, read their mind, see their memories, and reveal their secrets. Only those with strong shadow reading abilities can do this, but even they will usually only see an abstract vision of the emotions of the people they touch.

Yuri needs physical contact to glance into people's souls, but for especially powerful users, they merely have to look you in the eye.

看取り（みとり）

人の考えていること、記憶、想い、秘密
などが見える能力。

ごく一部の、強い「影見」の力を持つ者
だけが、この力を使うことができると言わ
れているが、多くの場合は、触れた相手
の感情だけが、抽象的なイメージとして
伝わる程度のものである。


夕利は相手に触らなければ見ることが
できないが、より強い力を持つ者は、
相手の目を見るだけで読み取ることが
できてしまうという。

ENJA

A special ability that the shrine maidens possessed. They would glance into the souls of people who came to end their life on Mt. Hikami during their last moments and see all their sins, all their secrets, making those memories their own.

They would share people's sorrow, fears, and suffering, saving them from the choking desolation as they died.

濡鴉ノ巫女たちが持っていた能力。

濡鴉ノ巫女たちは、日上山を訪れた
人々が命を絶つ瞬間、その目を見る
ことで、最期に思い残すことや、
その人が抱く罪、秘密、全てを見て、
自らの記憶として受け取ることができた。


巫女たちは、死に際した人の想いを
看取ることで、その人と感情を共有し、
共に悲しみ、共に苦しむことで
一人で死にゆく者の孤独を
救う役割を担っていた。
