To glance into someone is to take on their thoughts, their secrets.
The weak do so with a touch; while the strong can do it with a look, a true glance.
Howsoever it is done, the result shall be the same.
This power is of the Netherworld.
By drenching oneself in the mountain's waters, the heart melts, and joins with the water, strengthening the one who glances.
Getting closer to death also brings strength, allowing one to take on more thoughts, more secrets.
Strong thoughts make for stronger Pillars.
The thoughts are sealed with the Pillar inside the reliquary.
To open the box and let these thoughts overflow is to invite disaster, and is forbidden.
