Ceremony Master

Ceremony Master is the general title used to describe a person that presided one or more of the rituals performed across the Fatal Frame series. The Ceremony Master is usually, though not always, the head of the ruling family.

• In FF1 the Himuro Family Master presided over the Blinding Ritual and Strangling Ritual.
• In FF2 Ryokan Kurosawa, the head of the Kurosawa Family, presided over the Hidden Ceremony and the Crimson Sacrifice Ritual.
• In FF3 Yashuu Kuze, head of the Kuze Family, presided over the Impalement Ritual and the numerous other rituals performed at the Kuze Shrine.
• In FF4 Shigeto Haibara, head of the Haibara Family, presided over the Rogetsu Kagura and resurrected the ancient Rite of Descent.
• In FF5 the Wedding Celebrant and Funeral Celebrant presided over the Ghost Marriage and Reliquary rituals.

Misc Info

• One of the former Ceremony Masters of Minakami Village became the first Kusabi.
