Mio's Memo: Crimson Sacrifice
Obtained: After completing the game in Normal or Easy mode.
The ritual performed to calm the rumbling of the Hellish Abyss was the "Crimson Sacrifice Ritual". In this ceremony, the older sister of the Twin Shrine Maidens strangled her younger twin and became one with her again, and the energy thus produced resealed the Hellish Abyss.

Mio's Notes: Crimson Sacrifice Festival
Obtained: After completing the game in Normal or Easy mode.
At the Crimson Sacrifice Festival, twin shrine maidens are offered up to appease the abyss. There is a long held belief that twins have a single soul that has been divided between two bodies.
At the Crimson Sacrifice Festival, the elder twin strangles the younger in front of the Abyss. This act is believed to reunite their souls, unleashing an awesome energy which has the power to seal the Abyss.
紅贄祭
鳴動する虚を鎮めるために、双子の巫女を
紅贄（あかにえ）として捧げる儀式が「紅贄祭」
（あかにえさい）である。
皆神村では、古くから双子は一人の人間が分
かれて産まれてきたという信仰があった。
紅贄祭は、虚の前で双子の姉が妹の首をしめ
「一つにもどる」時に生じる強い力で封印を
施すとされている。
