Moon incense is an item from the Fatal Frame II game that is only obtainable by using a Gameshark cheat code. You cannot use this item, nor will it hurt you. It seems to be an item that was from an earlier version of the game and not removed from the final version.
The item image for Moon Incense dates back to the original Fatal Frame and can be found as an unused image in that game's files. A double health bar gauging both spiritual strength and physical health appears in the August 18 2003 prototype of Fatal Frame II, hinting at the game system that might originally have used Moon Incense, but this was removed from the final version of the game. The idea was eventually redeveloped and implemented in the Crimson Butterfly Remake in 2026.
