As Mio wandered around the village looking for the lost Mayu, she came across a white-haired boy locked up in a storehouse cell.
From the small cell window, the boy called Mio "Yae", and urged her and Sae to get out of the village before the ceremony started.

Mio's Notes: Boy in the Storehouse
Obtained: Chapter II, after talking to Itsuki for the first time.

When Mayu wanders off, Mio follows her through the village and comes across a white-haired boy locked inside a makeshift cell in a storehouse.
Through a small window, the boy speaks to Mio, calling her 'Yae' and insisting that she takes 'Sae' and escapes the village before the ceremony begins.

As Mio wandered Minakami in search of her missing sister Mayu, she stumbled upon a white-haired boy locked up inside a storehouse. The boy referred to her as "Yae," and advised her to take "Sae" out of the village before the festival begins.
蔵に囚われた少年
いなくなった繭を追う澪は、村をさまよう
うち、蔵の座敷牢に閉じこめられている
白髪の少年に出会う。
少年は澪のことを「八重」と呼び、祭りが
始まる前に「紗重」をつれて村から出る
ようにと、座敷牢の小さな窓を通して助言
する。
