I strangled Azami. With my own hands.

Her neck... it was so soft. So warm.
I squeezed it so gently...

But I wasn't strong enough. Azami was in pain.
A priest tried to help... but Azami wanted it to be me.


Azami and I have become one.

But Azami is gone.

I can't talk to her anymore.


Father has brought Azami back.

I apologised to her and she forgave me.

I will never make her suffer again.

I will not let anyone make her suffer.


Father says that Azami is evil and must be killed.

He is trying to kill her.

I will never let him hurt her.

わたしの手が、薊（あざみ）の首をしめた。

やわらかかった。あたたかかった。
ゆっくりうごいてた。

でも、わたしの力だけだと薊は苦しい
みたいだった。
最期には、宮司さまが手伝って下さろう
としたけど、薊は、わたしだけにして
ほしいと言った。


わたしは薊とひとつになった。

けど、やっぱり薊はいなくかったんだ。

もう、お話もできない。


おとうさまが、薊をつれ戻してきてくれた。

わたしは、いっぱいあやまった。

薊もわたしを許してくれた。

もう、ころしたりしないから。

もう、だれにもころさせたりしないから。


おとうさまは、薊を「むくろ」だといって
ころそうとしている。

薊をころそうとしている。

そんなことさせない。

もう、あんなことはさせない。
