Kiryu House Kanji 桐生家 （きりゅうけ） Game Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Fatal Frame: Deep Crimson Butterfly Located at Minakami Village Function Residence/Temporary living quarters for Twin Shrine Maidens Status Destroyed by the Repentance

Kiryu House is a house in Minakami Village. Kiryu House and Tachibana House were known as the Twin Houses, connected by the Heaven Bridge and Earth Bridge. In the past, the Kiryu house was the residence of the Kiryu Family, but after Yoshitatsu Kiryu was killed by his daughter, it appears to have been abandoned, and most of the house is locked, except for a few rooms used by Twin Shrine Maidens undergoing purification prior to the Crimson Sacrifice Ritual. The house has several dolls and parts of dolls here, since the head of the former Kiryu family was a doll-maker.

Misc. Info

• Masumi Makimura is seen as a vanishing ghost entering the house, suggesting he might have explored it, but his ghost is never encountered inside, and none of his notes mention it.
• In Deep Crimson Butterfly, the Kiryu House Key is kept in the Kureha Shrine by the priests. In Fatal Frame II, there is no key, and only the Camera Obscura is required to open main entrance.
