In Fatal Frame II, the Twins' Rooms are two rooms found in the Tachibana and Kiryu houses of Minakami Village. They were used by Twin Shrine Maidens for unspecified rituals preceding the Crimson Sacrifice Ritual, and twins are shown kneeling side by side on the cushions on the floor.

The Twins' Room in Kiryu House contains two lamps and two mirror stands, along with two dolls, two balls and two red kimonos hanging on racks. While investigating, Mio observes that "[e]verything seems to come in pairs in this room." A folding screen shows crimson butterflies flying among flowers, and a shelf contains accounts of past rituals, now too old to read.

• A promotional image for Fatal Frame II shows two unidentified twins in red kimonos kneeling on the two cushions in the Twins' Room.

The Twins' Room in Tachibana House is strung with sacred rope and contains a brazier, two hand-drums, two white kimonos, and many offerings presented on a rack of shelves. A mummified human figure appears sitting on one of the cabinets during a second playthrough. The hidden ghost of Mutsuki Tachibana lingers here, behind a screen, and in Deep Crimson Butterfly, Itsuki, Mutsuki and Chitose are seen spending time together in this room before Mutsuki's ritual.

In Fatal Frame III, the Twins' Room from Tachibana House appears in the Manor of Sleep as part of Mio and Kei's dreams. In this game it is shown on the second floor of Osaka House, in place of the study and guest rooms. The spirits of the Osaka Twins, Tsuzuri and Musubi, are seen kneeling in front of the mirror stands, with Musubi urging an uncertain Tsuzuri to continue the ritual.
