First, Reika Kuze is shown lying on the altar in the Engraving Shrine, receiving her tattoos from the Engravers. Next, the scene changes to the Handmaidens impaling Reika in the Chamber of Thorns, followed by a shot of all the other impaled Tattooed Priestesses in the Chamber.
