Long have I poured my heart and soul into carving the the Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, and now it is finally complete. I feel as though I have exhausted myself entirely.

I want to express my gratitude for your assistance.

You revealed the methods by restoring long-lost literature regarding the Rite of Descent.

Most importantly, you helped unravel the riddle of the paint, the key to the Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, and acquired the necessary materials.

The Kiraigou will surely bring about the desired outcome, and the mask will finally see it's true completion.

The true Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is not the wicked thing spoken of in folklore. It would never bring about the "Day Without Suffering".

That disaster occurred because the mask made by Soetsu was imperfect.

This mask will open the door to the "Zero Point" described in Soetsu's writings. Your tenacity has borne fruit.

I will keep the mask safe until the kagura. And while I cannot attend the Kiraigou, know that I will be praying from the shadows for your success.

長い間心血をそそいだ月蝕の面が
ようやく完成し、
私は全てを使い果たした気がする。

あなたの力添えに感謝したい。

失われた帰来迎の文献を復元し
その方法を明らかにした。

そして、なにより月蝕の面の
鍵であった塗料の謎を紐解き、
必要なものをそろえてくれた。

帰来迎は必ずや望むべき成果をあげ、
終に月蝕の面は真の完成を見るだろう。

真の月蝕の面は決して
伝承の如き忌まわしき
「無苦の日」を
生み出す邪なものではない。

災いは、宗悦が打った月蝕の面が
不完全だった故に起きたものだ。

この面は、宗悦が記した
「零域」への扉を開いてくれるだろう。
あなたの執念が実を結んだのだ。

神楽の間、私は面の守を
務めなければならぬ。
帰来迎には立ち会えぬが、
影ながら成功を祈っている。
