Regarding treatment of Misaki Asou:
Patients with high spiritual potential are different from other patients in that their sense of self is inherently weaker than most. They can also present symptoms of taking on secondary personalities.
Director Haibara feels that, in order to find new ways to treat the patient in the special isolation room on the fourth floor, we should try some experimental therapy on Misaki.
As a precursor to treating the patient in the isolation room, special procedures are being performed experimentally in the Primeval Passage, but symptoms have only worsened and the effects are extremely doubtful. Treatment with the apparatus is also having no effect, so it may be necessary to revert to administering medication in order to halt the hopeless advancement of symptoms.

麻生海咲の治療指針について
霊媒体質の患者は、他の患者とは
異なり、先天的に自分という意識が弱い
という特性がある。
また、自分以外の人格に変化するという
症例が見られる。
院長は、同様の体質である四階の
特別隔離室の患者の治療法を
模索するためにも
実験的な治療を試すべきだとしている。
特別隔離室の患者への治療に先立ち、
試験的に胎道における特別治療が
行われているらしいが、
症状は悪くなるばかりで、
その効果は、はなはだ疑問である。
器具をつかった治療も効果がない今、
絶望的な症状の進行を食い止めるためにも
治療を薬物投与に戻すべきだろう。
