Currently, the most promising treatment method is surgery.

It's a treatment that works by adding or removing direct stimuli to the brain. At first, because of its experimental nature, we had to overcome many difficulties. But since we started seeing results, it is nearing its establishment as an effective treatment method.

However, a few days ago, just when we thought the surgery was successful, we had an unfortunate fatality.

Having lost his memory and become an empty shell, the patient died, but then his face turned into a bizarre shape.

I immediately dissected it, but it was clearly a sign of "Blooming"...

The actual cause of the failure is unknown.
Research on surgical treatment must be continued but Blooming must be avoided.

直接刺激を加えることで
治療を行うものだ。
当初は実験性が高く困難を極めたが
次第に成果を上げはじめており、
有力な治療法として確立する日も近いだろう。
しかし、先日、手術において成功かと
思われた矢先、絶命に至るケースを確認した。
 
記憶がなくなり、空身（うつせみ）となって
死んだのだが、その際に
患者の顔が異様に
歪んだように見えた。
すぐさま、面を刈ったが、
これは#r#「咲く」#前兆…
咲き触れだったのだろうか？
外科手術による治療について
研究は続けるが、
咲くことだけは避けなければならない。
あの災厄…島の伝承に残る
「無苦の日」を繰り返す事はできない。
