APPROACHING THE DARKNESS OF THE DISAPPEARANCE CASE

It's been six months since the mass death and disappearance on Rogetsu Isle...

The investigation has been called off and the case is fading into obscurity, but our independent investigation has uncovered a dark history that is the key to breaking this case!!

A MYSTERIOUS DISEASE: GETSUYUU SYNDROME

We first turned our attention to "Getsuyuu Syndrome", a strange illness only found in the Rogetsu Archipelago.

According to a specialist we interviewed, it's a peculiar memory disorder that presents as sleepwalking and behaving as if possessed.

THE RETURN OF AN ANCIENT CALAMITY

According to a folklorist familiar with the area, its inhabitants have dreaded this condition since ancient times, believing it to be contagious.

Moreover, there are legends that say the majority of the population was once spirited away...

A MASS OUTBREAK?

What, dear readers, do you think might happen if a mass-onset of Getsuyuu Syndrome occurred? The island is surrounded by the sea. It's not hard to imagine where those wandering around obliviously might end up...

EXPLOITATION EVOKES SUPERNATURAL WRATH

The island is also home to the "Rogetsu Kagura", a strange festival said to appease souls who were spirited away.

Just before the incident, there were apparently concerns raised about advertising the kagura to attract tourists. Could it be that the underlying cause of the disaster was the shallow hubris of monetizing the sacred kagura...?

THE ONLY WITNESS...HAS DIED

The last person to know the truth was a young girl who passed away in the hospital only recently. What was it she saw as she muttered "mother" to her empty bedside...?

Only Rogetsu Isle knows the answers now, and there is no one there to tell them to...
