"Geological Surveyor Goes Missing"
A 26-year-old surveyor by the name of Masumi Makimura has gone missing after being dispatched to conduct work at the construction site of the Minakami Dam. The dam, which has been in the works since last year, is set to submerge parts of the area underwater. Makimura was sent to investigate the impact construction may have on local historical sites and other areas of concern, but has yet to return after five days.
"Search for Missing Surveyor Called Off"
The search for missing 26-year-old geological surveyor Masumi Makimura, which began on the fourth of this month, was officially called off yesterday after turning up no leads.
Makimura, who had been missing for ten days prior to the search's cancelation, was surveying the Minakami Dam construction site.

昨年より建設が計画されている「水神ダム」着工

調査員・槙村真澄（２６）が行方不明となって
いる。
槙村さんは、ダムに沈む地域にある史跡などの
調査に出かけ、5日経過した昨日まで
戻っていない。
「地質調査員の捜索打ち切り」
今月4日より行方不明の地質調査員・槙村真澄さ
ん（２６）の捜索が、昨日をもって
打ち切られた。
槙村さんは水神ダムの地質調査に同行、
行方不明になり昨日で10日が経過している。
