The mask of the Vessel must have inside it a face removed from a deceased person who buddeth not.
That face, being placed in the Shugen Temple must bathe in the light of the moon for one night.
In the Chamber of the Mask Artisan, the face is peeled off the body of the deceased, and then so tanned.
All the while, the moon's light must shine upon it.
