A brooch given to the player by Akira when the player beats him at a game of hide and seek. He says it contains the "dark lady's secret". Inside it is a picture of Maya.
It is also used as a "pointer" to spell out the word "ushiro" ("behind you") on one of the pages of the diary, hinting at the player to turn around, at which point they will discover Akira behind them.
