The Rogetsu Kagura is by far the most important traditional festival on Rogetsu Isle.
It is held only once every ten years.
The highlight of the festival is the Kagura itself. Taking place in the Temple of the Lunar Eclipse, a maiden known as the Vessel and five girls known as Organs perform a sacred dance.

「朧月神楽」は
朧月島で十年に一度行われる、
我が島最大の祭事です。
祭りの見所は
「月蝕堂」にて行われる朧月神楽。
「器」と呼ばれる巫女と
「奏」と呼ばれる少女の演奏者たちが
神秘的な神楽の舞を演じます。
島外からのお客様におかれましても
是非これを機に朧月島を訪れていただき、
悠久の歴史に触れて下さい。
