No change today... She's still sound asleep.
That's what scares me.
How can she still be alive in that state?
I stole a glance at the brainwave and heart rate charts on the doctor's desk.
I know she's alive behind that door, but looking at these numbers, there's no way that could possibly be true.
Even so, this feeling that she's going to wake up one day is bothering me. As a nurse, I know I should be pleased when my patients recover.
And yet my heart trembles in fear.
Fear that when she opens her eyes and opens that door, the world as I know it is going to come crashing down around me...

昏々と眠っている。

先生の机にあった
彼女の脳波と心肺機能のデータを
見てしまった。
彼女は確かにあの扉の奥で生きている。
だけど、それはあってはならない事
少なくともデータ上の数値を見る限りでは⋯
それでも 私は いつか彼女が
目を開く気がしてならない。
患者の快癒を喜ぶべきだと
頭ではわかっている。
それでも心は
不安で震えている。
彼女が目を開き
あの扉が開いた時
私の知る世界が
崩れてしまいそうで⋯
