By all accounts, it would appear that this underground room hidden beneath the Osaka house is also used as a place to stash the belongings left behind by outsiders.

Moreover, the farthest reaches of it appear to link to the Deep Path, the ancient underground cavern that runs beneath the village.

Though one cannot enter the Deep Path directly from here, it stands to reason that people gathering here during the Crimson Sacrifice Ritual took part in a hidden ceremony not meant for others' eyes.

It's entirely possible, therefore, that other such underground locations connected to the Deep Path also sit beneath the Tachibana and Kiryu houses.

逢坂家の隠された地下室は、どうやらマレビト
が遺した荷物の貯蔵庫としても使われているらし
い。

そして、その奥は古い地下洞窟である「深道」に
つながっているようだ。


深道へ出ることはできないが、「紅贄祭」の最中
にこの場所に集まることで、見てはならない秘祭
に参加していたのではないか。

もしかしたら、立花家や桐生家の地下にも「深
道」へとつながる場所があるのかもしれない。
