How long I've been held captive here, I cannot begin to guess.
However, I find myself reminded of the mountain villages of ages past, when visitors unlucky enough to pass through would be made living sacrifices in ritualistic ceremonies.
When the head priest and his assemblage caught me, they called me an "outsider," and declared I would be made into a kusabi. That can only mean one thing: I'm to be sacrificed in the Shadow Ritual that the twins spoke of earlier.
I committed a taboo in trying to reach that which isn't meant to be seen. Those who commit such a sin are destined to meet the same fate.
The key that the girls gave me must open the side exit out of this compound.
Yet, according to the map they gave me, the key I need to escape this prison sits hidden in a cave beneath the Osaka house. In fact, it might very well be the cellar I previously investigated, which occupies part of the Deep Path.
