Mainland scientist Professor Kunihiko Asou has arrived on Rogetsu Isle.
The professor, having a deep knowledge of folklore studies, wishes to study the legends and traditions of our island. He will also be present to observe the Rogetsu Kagura to be held tomorrow.
Hopefully this will lead to many more visitors coming to us from the mainland.
Also, it has been announced that the room where the professor is staying at Rogetsu Hall will be made into a museum in his honor.

朧月島を来訪す。
之は、民俗学にも造詣の博士が
我が島の伝承や伝統工芸の調査を
希望され、実現したものである。
なお、明日には島に伝わる祭事、
朧月神楽を見学される予定との事。
之を之機に、多くの来訪者が
本土より訪れる事を切に願ふ。
なお、麻生氏が滞在する朧月館では、
氏が宿泊した部屋を今後、
資料室として開放するとのことである。

Strictly speaking, the Japanese memo refers to Asou's inn room being converted into the 資料室 (Archive). However, given the adjoining Asou Museum, we translated this term more broadly.
