Rina's brother is a character in the mini-drama released to promote Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir. He lives with his parents and younger sister, Rina.
Rina's brother is looking for information into his sister's disappearance when her friend, Saki, appears at his house, crying and obviously frightened. She explains that she, Rina and her other friend Kaori played a game that was reputed to be cursed, and that Rina has been possessed by the woman in black. At first he is inclined to be sceptical, but she shows him a photograph that shows Rina as a ghostly, shadowy figure standing behind Kaori, and that convinces him to look into it.
He and Saki play the cursed game together, looking for clues. While they are playing they see Rika apparently trapped inside the haunted house in the game, but before they can think about how to help her, strange phenomena start to occur in the house. When they attempt to escape, the woman in black appears at the door, blocking their way.
Rina's brother's ultimate fate is unknown, but presumably he is spirited away.
