Rina is a character in the mini-drama released to promote Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir. She is a high-school student and lives with her parents and elder brother.
At the start of the story, she invites her two friends, Saki and Kaori, to her house while her parents and brother are out. When they arrive, she explains that she wants them to play a new 3DS game with her. The game is said to be cursed, but Rina doesn't take the rumours seriously.
After her friends leave, Rina begins to have strange experiences while alone in the house. She is possessed by the woman in black, who uses her to haunt her friends and eventually spirit them away as well. While Saki and Rina's brother are investigating her disappearance, they see her inside the video game, apparently trapped.
At the end of the movie, Rina is seen sitting on a swing in the park, alone and dishevelled, holding her 3DS. The woman in black drags her out of the real world, and Rina's 3DS console is the only thing that remains.
