Madoka's Mother is a character mentioned in Fatal Frame IV. Her daughter Madoka was hospitalised at Rogetsu Hall for treatment of Moonlight Syndrome. Madoka's mother was not able to visit as often as she would have liked, but she wrote letters to Madoka and gave her a pet canary to lift her spirits. She reassured Madoka that, as a Tsukimori, she was protected by the moon.
It is not known exactly what happened to Madoka's mother, but by the time of Fatal Frame IV, Madoka has no living relatives of her own,[1], and has been living with Misaki's family for a long time.[2]
