Soetsu Yomotsuki
Template:FF4 Minor CharacterAn ancestor of Ruka Minazuki and Souya Yomotsuki, Souetsu was the head of the Yomotsuki family and the master mask-maker of the island. Souya makes a note that Souetsu was of the seventh generation of Yomotsuki mask makers. He sought to create the true Mask of the Lunar Eclipse for the Kiraigou, but when his mask was used the ceremony failed, causing a disaster called the Day Without Suffering. After this disaster, Souetsu mysteriously disappeared, the mask itself became taboo and the ceremony was halted.
Generations later, Souya discovered some of Souetsu's notes and used them to try to "complete" the Mask of the Lunar Eclipse.
