Room 309 "Faded Moon" is one of the patient rooms within Rogetsu Hall in Fatal Frame IV. It is named after the ninth month in the old Japanese calendar, and the room sign bears a chrysanthemum design. Ten years before the events of the game, Room 309 belonged to the artist Yuko Magaki. There is a large painting on the floor, of a woman in red, and another painting of a woman's torso on the easel, as well as many paintings on the walls. The bath behind the curtain is covered in multi-coloured paints, and doll parts are scattered around the room, including a strange arrangement of doll heads tied together next to a limbless female torso and a row of dangling doll arms.
