Katsuhito was a patient at Haibara Infirmary, who suffered from advanced Getsuyuu Syndrome and could no longer recognise his own face. He had suffered from persecution mania since childhood and once hospitalised became convinced that Haibara Infirmary was conducting experiments on humans.
He most likely died during the Day Without Suffering as a result of Sakuya Haibara passing Blooming on to him.
