Among the old literature that I've been sifting through is a map titled "the Deep Path."

It appears to be an underground cavern used for rituals, but the contents are so old I can't quite read everything that's written.

What I have discerned, however, is that one section of the tunnels connects the village to the outside world. Unfortunately, while the entrance to the Deep Path is said to be located within the grounds of the Shinto shrine, it's long since been sealed off.
