Cape Tsukiyomi Lighthouse Kanji 月読崎灯台 （つくよみさきとうだい） Game Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse Located at Rogetsu Isle Function Lighthouse Status Still functioning/abandoned

A lone lighthouse on Rogetsu Isle, it is still functioning and lighting the way to the island. At the top is a shrine with an organ inside. The organ was used by the Guardians to play the Moonsong, which would calm the moon and prevent blossoming.

The lighthouse is one of the main landmarks on the island, and is visible from the boat at the beginning of Phase I. Young Madoka Tsukimori drew a picture of it, and talks about wanting to visit it again.

At the end of Fatal Frame IV, Sakuya Haibara climbs to the very top of the lighthouse to be close to the moon. It is here that Ruka Minazuki battles and defeats her, and eventually calms her by playing the Moonsong on the organ.

• Ruka has a photograph of the lighthouse in her room in Rogetsu Hall.
• The appearance of the lighthouse may have been inspired by the real Tsunoshima Lighthouse.
