• The Rogetsu Kagura - theatrical Kagura dance, performed on Rogetsu Isle every ten years, worshipping the lunar eclipse. The last such ceremony ended in the deaths of all six performers.
• Rite of Descent/Ceremony of Passage - ancient, "genuine" version of the Rogetsu Kagura, stopped decades before as it caused a disaster and became taboo. Secretly revived in the 1970s using Sakuya Haibara and her Organs, but failed, causing Sakuya to Bloom and kill all of the islanders.
• Cutting the faces from the dead - custom on Rogetsu Isle was to cut off the faces of the deceased, so that they would not Bloom.
