Ruka returns to her childhood home.

Her father tried to complete the Mask of the Lunar Eclipse. He made perfect masks for all five Kanade as well, to complete the ceremony.

The forbidden ceremony, the Rite of Descent.

However, the ritual ended in failure, the girls lost their memories and Sakuya became comatose.
