Template:FFIV GhostOne of the ghosts encountered in Fatal Frame IV. He was an islander loyal to the Haibaras. His duty was to guard the Shrine of Mourning. When Sakuya Haibara awoke in 1972 and wandered free of the shrine, Masanobu, along with the other guards, fled to the tunnels beneath the island in an attempt to escape her. However, he was trapped and killed by Sakuya; like the others that fled it is never stated exactly how he died, though it is likely he died of Blooming.
Misc. Info
- Masanobu carries a long pole and usually attacks alongside the other masked shrine guards. However, he is the only member of the group to be fought alone, appearing in the basement path leading to the shrine he guarded while alive.
