Room 412

Room 412 Kanji 氷月 （ひょうげつ） Game Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse Located at Rougetsu Hall Function Patient's Bedroom Status Abandoned

One of the rooms within Rougetsu Hall occupied by patients with Getsuyuu Syndrome. Room #412 was Sakuya Haibara's room. It is much larger than the other patients' rooms in Rougetsu Hall, and was designed specially for Sakuya, when her illness became severe enough that she had to be isolated to protect other patients. The room even has a small glass area like a greenhouse or conservatory, where there are a few potted plants. Even though the room was designed to be luxurious, it had the atmosphere of a prison.

Like Ayako, Sakuya collected many dolls and displayed them in her room, though hers are intact. The dolls on the right-hand dresser are all arranged around an empty chair; the wooden dolls on the left-hand dresser are dressed in ceremonial clothes, and behind them is a photograph of the torii gate in the backyard of Haibara Hospital under the full moon.

Notable Events

• Misaki Asou would visit Sakuya in this room, and it was here that Sakuya gave Misaki a doll.
• The nurse assigned to the fourth floor before Shie Sonosaki killed herself in front of Sakuya.
• Misaki witnessed Sakuya being led away after her condition worsened.

• The name on the door says "Hyougetsu", which means ice moon.
• There is a broken mirror on the table by the window.
• The pictures mounted on the walls above Sakuya's doll collection appear to show the Entrance of Rougetsu Hall and the path in the backyard of Haibara Hospital leading to the grave mound.
