Mortuary Kanji 霊安室 （れいあんしつ） Game Located at Haibara Hospital Basement Function Morgue Status Abandoned

The Morgue is a room in the basement of Haibara Hospital, where the bodies of the deceased were kept. As a result of the islanders' beliefs about death, it contains religious items not usually seen in a morgue, such as a number of small altars and enshrined masks. The body of Tsubaki Tono is laid out on one of the tables, face covered with a cloth. The body vanishes when Choushiro Kirishima attempts to remove the cloth, but reappears if the player reenters the Morgue in later chapters. A hidden ghost revealed by photographing the second corpse shows Face-cutting, suggesting the practice sometimes took place in the Morgue as well as in the Shrine of Mourning.
