Description	A folklore book from the bookcase in Yuu's room. It has a statue similar to the one in the photograph.
Additional Description	In the bookcase, there is a book with a Buddhist image that resembles the Buddhist image in the photograph.

This statue is from a derelict temple in the Akita mountains.

It is standing upright, but seems to be holding something like reins in its hands, making it a very unusual Buddhist statue.

The temple appears to have been neglected for many years and both the ceiling and floor fell in.

The books were completely decomposed. Upon investigation, a small amount of blood was found on the statue and there was also traces of the same blood on the floor of the temple.

It appears some kind of ritual or sacrifice may have taken place here.

No oral tradition or documents related to the temple are left in surrounding mountain villages, so the details remain a mystery.

この仏像は秋田の山中にある、名称不明
の廃寺から見つかったものである。

直立しているが、手には手綱を持つよう
な仕草をしているという、他には見られ
ない特徴を持つ珍しい仏像である。

寺は長い間放置されていたらしく、天井
や床は抜け、書物の類は全て読むことす
らできない状態であった。


調査から、仏像にはわずかではあるが血
が付着しており、また発見された廃寺の
床にも同様の血の跡が見つかっているこ
とから、何れかの民間神事、供儀に使わ
れたものであろうと思われる。

周囲の山村などにはその寺にまつわる口
碑、文書などは残っておらず、詳細は謎
のままである。
