Room 102 Kanji 102 麗月　（れいげつ） Game Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse Located at Rogetsu Hall 1F Function Dining room Status Abandoned

Room 102 "Glorious Moon" is the dining room of Rogetsu Hall in Fatal Frame IV. It is named after the second month of the old Japanese calendar, and the sign on the door bears a plum blossom design. It contains multiple tables, a piano and a projector. The projector is used on several occasions to play film of the Rogetsu Kagura and Rite of Descent. Misaki encounters Madoka here, and is attacked by her after watching one such film. There is a kitchen visible over a counter by the entrance, but this area is not accessible during the game. Ruka can play the piano when she obtains the necessary sheet music.

Strange Phenomena

• The piano will make a loud noise after walking away from it, after picking up Madoka's note.
• Shadowy figures are seen, sitting at the tables in this room and whispering, after entering during Chapter 5.

Additional Information

• The twelve numbered rooms of Rogetsu Hall share nicknames with the twelve months of the lunar calendar. The nickname of Room 102 is 麗月 (Reigetsu; Beautiful Month), a nickname for February which calls to mind a world blanketed in pure snow and sparkling ice just as the first plum blossoms form.
